I've been bitten by the podcast bug. The format is fun, informative, and an escape for me. I was driving to my in-law's house recently and thought about some of my old friends. I know some random, really smart people. I thought it might be cool to pick their brains on single subjects with a 10 minute constraint. The restriction of 10 minutes is pretty key. When timelines exist, people feel presure. Even when it's just a conversation with a friend. That keeps the conversations in a state of mild-tense-discomfort. It's pretty darn entertaining.
The second part of this podcast is the seasons. I will be releasing 9-10 episodes at once. They will all drop on the same day at the same time. It didn't make sense to produce a 10 minute podcast for which people have to wait an entire week for the next episode, so you get them all at once. Because of this, I will be doing some promotion before hand. If you dig the series, I really need your help in promoting it.
A little background into the tone of the series: I don't edit the conversations, there is profanity, I say dumb things, and my guests may fumble through words. I like that level of communication because it's real. The one thing I am going to do is put affiliate links in the show notes. If there is something that we mentioned in the show that you are interested in, use the link in the show notes (if you feel up to it). If you don't, that's cool as long as you dig the shows and get some knowledge from them.
